Never stop believing in God, even in bad situations.

Eric was asked "What is a situation when you might think God is not with you?"
Eric said, "huh God is always with me!"

Always believe that God is with you, even in bad situations.

Haley was asked, "What is a situation that you might think that God is not with you?"
Haley said, "There isn't one God is always with me!"

Growing up the way we did I never even thought to think that God was not with us. In a Bible Study group we recently had to share our "faith journeys." I was shocked by the number of people who throughout their journeys said that they felt like God was not with them. It makes me want to point out to my children every time I see God working in their, my life or the lives of others.

Joseph is one of my favorite bible characters, maybe because I've taught his life story so many times. Just reading this small portion of his life brought me great happiness tonight. It's that reminder that not only is God always with us but he is also ALWAYS in control. He always has our best interest in mind even when we can't see it. It is such a comfort to be loved that much.

I don't ever think of my life without God. There are times when I don't understand why things are happening to me. I at times get frustrated because my simple mind can't comprehend why I'm going through something that might be unpleasant. My narcissistic side doesn't want to accept that God may be allowing this undesirable event to occur so that I may benefit, in some way that I don't understand, in the future. I've learned over time, what Haley and Eric already know, that God is always with me.
