A few years ago I was thinking about the fruits of the Spirit and how easy it is to see them in some people. I know it's not suppose to be a checklist for Christianity but I often think that if a person is living for Christ some of these characteristics (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control) should be apparent. The author summarized it well when he stated that "we are all called to be a living testament of Jesus’ work".

I can't imagine being imprisoned 20 years for your beliefs. What an amazing testimony of faith!
