"I will open my mouth in parables..." I have also marveled at the power of the biblical parables. Lessons were taught telling simple stories that were easy to relate to making them easy to repeat. Their simplicity also protects them from being heavily changed from one generation to the next. I wonder if I would ever write a parable what it might look like...Hmm... scratch
