This is one of those passages that I have taught many times and read many many times but each time I come across it it is a new comfort all over again. In this season of life it is not only a comfort for me in my own life but also when thinking abut each of you, my children and grandchildren.

This is a timely reading for me. I've been having some discussions with those close to me about when I should retire. Of course, the first thing that comes to mind is financial security. I needed the reminder that my life is in God's hands and that He has always provided for all my needs. I shouldn't begin to question that at this point in my career.
