I never looked at these verses from the point of ambition. For me Colossians 3:23 has helped me to have the right attitude when mopping the same ol floor, cleaning toilets, mowing the lawn ..... It really does help when you think about doing EVERYTHING you do in life as if doing it for The Lord. So I'm off to make the bed and do the dishes! Very Happy

I've always loved this verse because I find it inspirational. It reminds me that life is not about me. It reminds me that I exist for God's pleasure and that how I choose to do things glorifies God. cheers
