Today's lesson is a good reminder to follow the call of God and rely on Him to equip us for the task He has called us to. God called a very different desert man to announce and prepare the way for His Son. John's obedience to his calling lead to multitudes seeking the truth. "Our surrender to God proceeds His significant work in our life".

I am also reminded that I may be interacting, on a daily basis, with someone God has sent into my life for a specific purpose. While I may think that person a little different, how do I know if I am mocking or criticizing someone who has a holy mission?
