God's Will

Even in tough times know that God is with you and He will guide you through it.

Don't think about your troubles of tomorrow stay in the moment.

Well if you were wondering todays devotion was meant for me.
On Friday when I was talking to a HR person from the kids school district she encouraged me to apply for a full time kindergarten job. It had only been posted on Wed. and it would start immediately. I thought about it, cried about it and talked with Anthony about it and felt no clear direction about what I was to do. Online the job was posted in Friday, still there in Sat., still available Sunday morning and last night I went back online just to read over the assignment one last time it was gone. The job had been filled.
And our verse from church yesterday:
"Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us." Ephesians 3:20

Today's reading makes me think of one of my favorite hymns:


"When we walk with the Lord

In the light of His word,

What a glory He sheds on our way!

While we do His good will,

He abides with us still,

And with all who will trust and obey."

Today the last paragraph said "If we concern ourselves with God's will and obey each day the directions and warnings He gives , if we walk by faith and step out in the path of obedience, we will find that Gd will lead us through this day." God lead Tricia by the computer, Carlos by a hymn, and me by a old movie.
"God knows each winding way I take,
And every sorrow, pain, and ache;
His children He will not forsake-
He knows and loves His own."
He found each one of us where we where. That's love!
