"Lean not on your own understanding" is the part that I think often trips us up. We want to figure it out and have the answers now. Today's reading made me think of Isaiah 55:8-9,

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares The Lord. As the heavens are higher then the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts."

With this knowledge I'm thankful that He is directing my path.
