I guess I still have Mother's Day lingering on my mind because verses 51 & 52 are what stood out to me.
"His mother treasured all these things in her heart. And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and favor with God and men."
As mothers that's what we do. We treasure and ponder many things from our children's lives over in our minds and hearts. And above all else we hope and pray that they grow in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God.

I must have Mother's Day still on the mind because what Sheri described is what also stood out to me. The verses remind us what truly is important for our children. "Growing in wisdom...and favor with God...", isn't that all we really want for all our children?
