I often thought of the creation story as a reminder of our place on earth, when we consider "the big picture". Our heritage is dust, in comparison to our God. It also works as a wonderful metaphor of what we end up after death.

Today's writing kind of puts us right in our place, lowly dust. No better or more significant than any one else. It also speaks to the majesty of God. Our God who thought of each detail in creation could make man out of dust and yet value us and love us so much that he also thought of each detail in our path to salvation and eternity with him. Amazing.

Don't always think of people badly, God loves us all the same because we were made the same.
That is a lesson I need to learn because I get annoyed with people. scratch
