April 19th Empty Tough Love

Something we never like to think about is that growth, of any kind, only comes through painful experiences. Our daily hardships or occasional tragic events are there to strengthen us. Of course the most popular argument is that a loving God would protect us from such suffering. We refuse to accept that He allows it for growth. Always a difficult concept to accept such tough love.
