"Be as patient with others as God has been with you." This summarize the challenge. The only real tough part is that God has divine control, we fall significantly short. It would be helpful to take a second, before getting angry, to consider what God would expect.

Nothing has more revealed the heart of God to me than parenting. I find myself leaning over my children with stern reminders, and before I can even close my mouth I hear, "that's what God says to you." It's rarely anything new: be kind, love one another, help your brother/sister. But when I look at my frustration with my own kids, it makes me wonder how much God has "put up with" me.
And it makes me want to apologize to mom & dad for all of the times I drove you crazy! I'M SORRY.
