Remember, when your heart is hurting, you don’t have to cut through a lot of red tape to present your needs to God. Through Christ, we have full and immediate access.
Great news for Christians as other belief structures have intermediaries instead of talking directly with God.

Protestant vs. Catholic

There are numerous differences between Protestants and Catholics. While Catholicism allows the same direct access in prayer the entire issue of praying to saints makes it so some may not feel that basic freedom. The Protestant emphasis on this direct access was one of the major contributing issues that had me change from attending a Catholic Church to Protestant. On paper it may not seem that significant but it is when you are living it.
