Ephesians 2:10
For we are God's workmanship created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
This year in Bible study I learned that Paul uses "in Christ" about 30 times in Ephesians and if you look at all the "in Christ" phrases you see the make up of a christian. I think that this "in Christ" is especially important because it reminds me that I am made in His image. For me the rest of the verse is very encouraging and a a charge to go forth and do good because we were made to do good. Pretty simple affirmation of our purpose. Do good so His character can shine through us.
