It's easy for us to recognize the description of Jesus mentioned in Isaiah after-the-fact. Knowing how the story ends and reading the story written centuries  before Christ was born is always enlightening. I wonder what Isaiah's contemporaries thought when they first read this. It may have seemed more poetic than prophetic to them at the time.

Jesus was an expert on the scriptures. So did fulfill the prophesy or intentionally live his life so as to meet all the prophetic predictions? Any thoughts?
