October 19th

Today's reading made me reflect on the challenge we all face when having to wait on God's timing. As a child, we want things when we want them. We don't wish to wait nor look at the big picture in a mature fashion. Instead, like children, we want to lay blame on others. We even arrogantly blame God. To know God is to love Him and to love Him is to obey Him and to obey Him is to faithfully accept His lordship over your life. Patience in the Lord is an act of obedience and adoration. Simple, just not easy.
