September 18th

I am reminded of Proverbs 16:9, "humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps." I have often seen this in my asking the Lord to guide my career. I've received many blessings, more than I deserve, but the steps have not been the way I would have planned it. After seeing how God has worked my career for my benefit, I don't question when the steps are different than how I choose. After over 35 years I've learned to trust Him and just go with the steps He has chosen for me. Besides, it makes the journey more exciting!
