The metaphor of dehydration is made more real (and humorous) in the present heat wave. With temperatures around 108 degrees Embarassed the example of the thirst we experience is more appreciated. It's also a short reminder of what REAL thirst we might experience.

After missing several weeks of "Our Daily Bread"today's reading was the perfect one to start back up with. Both the reading and our message from "the lonely blogger" were very convicting. Our connections and relationships with our Lord and other believers are what keep us from experiencing "dehydration".
