The recent message we have been getting seems to be very clear. First and foremost we need to LOVE. Beginning with loving God, and then each other. After love, service will follow and then we will bear fruit. But it all begins with LOVE.

I have alway read John 15 with a very positive feeling about the vine/branch metaphor. For some strange reason today I noticed the warning that says,"He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit". God "cuts" us off? Not something most of us like to think about. We only like hearing about the love of God. We need to remember that our loving God has expectations of us.
